Breast and Endocrine Surgeon

 Professor Serpell is the Director of General Surgery and Head of the Breast, Endocrine and General Surgery Unit at The Alfred Hospital. He is also a member of the Breast, Endocrine Surgery and Surgical Oncology Unit at Frankston Hospital and is a Professor of Surgery at Monash University.

He is also the Clinical lead for the Australian and New Zealand Thyroid Cancer Registry

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

 Ms Terrill is a plastic surgeon at Peninsula Health and works in private at Peninsula Private Hospital. She was the Head of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Frankston Hospital till recently. She is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Australian Hand Society and Wounds Australia. She holds a Senior lecturer position in the Dept of Surgery, Monash University. 

Breast Surgeon

Miss Melanie Walker is the Clinical Lead for Breast Surgery at the Alfred Hospital and VMO Breast Surgeon at Monash Health and Breast Screen. She is President of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand. She is a member of the Australasian Society for Breast Diseases, Australasian Society for Ultrasound Medicine, Breast Cancer Trials and the Oncoplastic Breast Consortium.  She also consults at the Epworth, Richmond.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Mr Richard Ross is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Peninsula Health and Western Health, where he conducts reconstructive and revisional breast surgery and complex facial reconstruction. In addition, he holds a Senior Research Fellow position at Monash University.    

Richard has significant experience in complex facial skin cancer and breast reconstructive surgery, and has a special interest in facial aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, aesthetic breast surgery and body contouring.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr Lisa Ellis is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon providing comprehensive care for patients requiring skin cancer surgery,  breast surgery, trauma and reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and holds her Masters of Surgery.

Lisa is known for her meticulous surgical technique, clear communication, and calm, friendly manner, and works collaboratively with referring general practitioners. She holds public appointments at Peninsula University Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (PMCC).

Lisa is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Endocrine and General Surgeon

 She completed the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University and then general surgical training through the Alfred Health network in Victoria. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in General Surgery in 2019.

Following this Dr Hii undertook further subspecialty fellowship training in endocrine and general surgery through Western Health. In 2022 she was appointed as the Selwyn Taylor Fellow in Endocrine Surgery (Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust), a highly competitive fellowship position in London, England. 

Dr Hii commenced consultant practice in London prior to returning to Melbourne, where she is now appointed publicly as an endocrine and general surgeon with Bayside Health (Alfred and Peninsula campuses). Dr Hii consults privately in Frankston and East Melbourne.
